Just got my 1st bb, 8830 with sprint. I love it over my old flip a900 phone.
Sprint promised me they would swat me into the 8330 curve when they get it, its could release today (5/7). Because I'am so new hat this blackberry stuff, I don't know if I'm better off with the curve or the 8830, I am a heavy phone user- 3000 min. a month. HELP

The 8330 is the newest of the family, increased memory will likley put to rest the low memory issues on the earlier generation of 83xx.

definitely, without a doubt, go with the curve. as far as you being a heavy minute user, are you concerned with battery life? other than that, your only issue regarding minute usage would be what plan youre on - which obviously has nothing to do with what phone youre running.

if youre concerned about battery life, i find that the most important thing with blackberries is to make sure you dont have ten million programs running in the background. (this will also save your memory)

so yes... go curve!! hurry!!!

Personally, although I have a Pearl, I had a chance to go to the Curve and hate the keyboard. Between the two keyboards, I actually preferred the 8830 to the Curve, the buttons for some reason felt bigger - and that is why I like the Pearl better - the buttons are bigger.
