I'm trying to download desktop manager and when I try to run the file an error comes up and it stops the installation. The error says ,

1: Failed to install ISKernel Files. Make sure you have appropriate privileges on this machine.

Does anybody know what this means and how I can install the program without this happening?

Do you have administrative rights on the computer, or are you signed on as another user to the main account on the computer?

dvdfan is right. You need to be signed on as Adminstrator, have Administrator rights or install with Administrative Rights.

Once yu have saved the file to the PC, open it, extract it, then open DM, app loader, you are wanting to add a app, so click the browse button and browse to the extracted folder, you want to load the .axl file so click on that to get it, then hit Next, it will tell you what its going to load, then go ahead, it will do its thing, your phone will reboot up, options, themes, click on it in there to change it on your BB

Go look in the app section there in DM where you see all the things installed on yhour phone, where all the check marks are, phone, etc etc, do you see the name of the theme you are trying to install IN that list, if so, put a check mark in the box next to it, then hit next

You may have to click it more than once to get it, sometimes, if I have a zip, and I find the .axl file, I will occasionally have to click more than once to get the correct part to load...
