Now, Let me ask you a question.
After all of that, do you now feel superior?
Maybe you've settled your insecurities
Surely, they are "rivals" so-to-speak.
Sort of like rooting for the home team, no?
Not at all. Neither of my phones makes me feel superior to someone using
something else. I have what works for me. Others have what works for them.
Or in other words, nice try. I'm just asking why so many BB users can't seem
to rise above the "iPhone is crap and must be constantly derided" mentality.
I don't see any other phone or platform as a rival. I use what works for me
and don't spend time slagging people who choose to use something else.
Why that wasn't obvious in my original post speaks more to your mindset
than it does mine.
What kind of insecurities must one have when their phone device helps them develop pride?
Sometimes Blackberry guy begins to get just as annoying as iPhone guy. I don't really slam the iPhone as a device because I think it's a pretty damn good device. But iPhone guy has this sort of "swagger" to him that I don't understand.
And what's worse is that it sways the minds of Blackberry users to act in the same way.
Notice that people who truly know about smartphones do not slam the other devices they choose not to use. The best examples for this thread are Howard Stern and/or Jim Rome.
I'm not into the "Look who has a Blackberry" thing. But in all seriousness Howard decided on a certain brand of phone and didn't slam the other devices.
Same goes for Jim Rome. I've listened to Jim Rome praise the Blacckberry for 10 years. Not once have I heard him slam other devices.
Why must this be typical of Blackberry users now?

I know what mind-set you both are speaking of.
But, it's like for me to say i'm a Chevrolet guy.
So of coarse, I'm going to be on that side of the field
No fault in giving others credit when credit is due.
But, into baseball at all? Football maybe? Whats your favorite team?
Not trying to spark a heated debate here, everybody is allowed their own opinion.
But if you don't see it "one way" no need to spill it over into everybody else' hands.

I'm sorry but comparing this to the sports rivalries or automobile rivalries are terrible analogies.
