Had my z since July and it's been notifying me about the phones storage running low for a while now. I laid low on apps until I finally got a 16gb SD card. I popped it in and my pics automatically started being saved to the card but I've started downloading apps again and now the phone is starting to constantly notify me to "consider deleting or moving existing files". What do I do to get this to stop?

I assume you still have pics on the device memory, move the pics over to the SD using using file manager and delete off the device. If they are already moved see if they are still sitting in the device memory too...

It doesn't look like anything has been saved to your new memory card.
    2 things you should do.

    1. Use file manager on your phone to copy and move your existing photos to your memory card. Or move them to your computer if you don't need them on your phone.
    2. Open the settings on your camera an select to save to memory card for all future photos going forward.

As well, deleting apps doesn't mean you lose them. They can always be re-downloaded at a later time if need be. Get rid of the apps you aren't using.

If you have music on your phone, save it as well to your memory card.

    Hope this helps.

BlackBerry 10 BlackBerry World allows you to uninstall or delete applications. Uninstall allows you to reinstall the application. Delete removes the application from the uninstalled list after uninstalling it.

Copying and pasting in file manager as we speak. It's taking a while cause the pics file is large and it won't let me transfer two files simultaneously. I'll do music after pics. Thanks for the help guys. My problem should be solved once I transfer everything over.

I should probably get some sort of cloud going.

Really not necessary to go cloud unless you don't have a pc...simple move what your not using to your PC. I move all pics over to my external HD every couple of months or so

I've copied and pasted everything over to the card. Is there a way to delete entire contents of a folder in file manager without having to go in and select to delete manually? I've tried zipping and that's not working

It's a 5 min video, but it will tell you everything you want to know about file manager.

What kind of card did you get? It may not be compatible with the new technology. Picking a SD to buy was kind of a task

I personally use SanDisk Ultra Class 10, no issue at all, and you can find some pretty good deals on Amazon. BestBuy in Canada sells 32 GB for 99.00. Half the price for double the storage on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009QZ...UvbUpU10080922

Kb is probably right, it probably can't find it... you should find under the storage in setting reformat card. of you can't find it on your device use your PC to reformat and see if that brings it to life

Yeah its just the device is nearly. For some reason u can't really stop the notifications.

Don't know why u can't copy and move multiple files at once. The file being too large shouldn't be a issue. I've transferred whole 2GB movies from the device to my media card before. Mayb I misunderstood lol
