Another poster who runs a phone store indicated that her store had sold 9 Classic's and 2 Passports. This is not an indication that the Passport is not a great device but rather that a wide device with a physical keyboard is a small niche product.

True my store (in Red Deer, Alberta) finally got REAL working models about two weeks ago, BUT now they need to charge them. Could be another month. Come on Telus get with it.

Update to my original post which started this conversation off, just returned from the mall went into same TELUS store different assistant approached me, asking if he be of help in anyway. Long story short he pointed out that they only have 2 of the BlackBerry on display if I was interested in the Passport he could fetch me one from the back to show me. All's not lost, there is hope for the future with smart people like him, which makes up for the other donkey head who was working there before.

In my local TELUS store yesterday, which had the Leap & Classic on display but no Passport. The sales person asked if I was interested in a new phone when enquired about the passport was told that the new leap is a replacement for the Passport!!!

I told him that he was wrong, that the new leap was not to replace the Passport, two different phones altogether aimed at two different types of customers. At that point time to leave,

LOL - I was just in a Telus store and all three were side by side (Leap, Passport, Classic)

Guess it varies from store to store
