Hi, just received my new LCD in the post off eBay for my 8520.

I assembled my BB with the new screen, when I turn the device on, I just get a blank white screen. I've tried my old faulty screen and that seems to work, apart from the fact that it had dead pixels.

Any idea's why this is happening? Thanks.

You have the wrong model number of the screen. Take it out, compare the numbers with the ones on the old screen, to the new screen, and you'll know. Remember for example, a telus screen will only work on a telus phone.

Hi, it's exactly the same model. 007/111 for the 8250. Not idea why it isn't working

I got the same thing when I put a 83xx screen in a 8530. The fact that the numbers are the same and it doesnt work is odd. Contact the seller and ask them to swap it out for another one, if they have more.
