That would depend on what type of phone you prefer. OS7 phones are pretty amazing, it just depends on what you prefer and how you plan to use the phone.

I own a 9810 and love it. Its the best of both worlds with a touch screen and full slide out keyboard. My friend has the Curve 9360 and loves the non-touch screen and form factor.

It would help if you told us how you use your phone.

Yes a lot depends on how you are going to use your phone. If you need to make too many calls daily, a good battery back up would not be sufficient as you need to buy an unlimited calling plan from Axvoice.com, vonage etc. However, my experience and understand says, majority buys these smart phones just to show off their wealth. Only a small number of people are genuine users of these smart phones.

yep! to me, the new Bold 9900/9930 is THE BEST Blackberry out right now.

The touch + type + trackpad combination is the best yet!

Im a 9810 user. Although 9810 and 9900 are two of the best phones that Blackberry can offer, if you are more on calling, you can probably check the specs of Bold 9790, it also has OS7.

    check the specs here:

Yeah, is cheaper than the curve you're using and have a bigger baterry. That phone is know to last all weekend. But the fact that it's in it's EOL maybe some thing to consider

9790 has a better battery but it is a smaller device, very similar to the 9700/9780. 99XX is the flagship model Bold and if you have large hands and/or the need for a spacious keyboard then this is the phone for you.

Whats wrong with your 9360? Correct me if I am wrong but that should be an OS7 phone.

As for what to get, if you are going calls that 9360 should be all you need. If you want to do more I would go either 9900 or 9860(I love mine). Call quality on my Torch is fantastic by the way. Much better than my old 9700.

lol NOT the 9900 if the battery is what concerns you. I carry an extra battery and a charger with me. I have no outside Apps besides what the phone came with and the battery sucks!

I recently upgraded to OS 7.1 and my battery lasted from 11am-10pm! I was shocked. I am a heavy user, my phone doesn't leave my hands because of work.

Good choice you made. However I cannot get over how bad the camera is on this phone, I just don't understand why they couldnt even make a 7MP camera or something. The iphone 8mp cam is amazing. I guess it matters to me because I use it a lot.

Congratulations. I have the same phone and it is incredible. What is great about it also is if the battery is low it will recharge very quickly.

I have had several BB's and I am currently using a 9900 and I am VERY happy.

Battery life on the other hand..... well that's been an unhappy topic regardless of my device, BB or the Androids I have owned.

Bottom line is I have no faith whatsoever in any manufacturer regarding the battery life topic.

The closest I ever came was my DroidX2 with the extended life battery. It was pretty good and if you have a DroidX2 you should definitely get that battery. I absolutely hated the phone but it sure did have some hang time with that bigger battery.
