I currently am on AT&T and use a Pearl 8100 my service is company provided. I was about to upgrade to a 9700 but just was told I may have to switch to Verizon. I don't really see anything on Verizon that compares to the 9700 on the BB side. Seems they are a little light on memory, which is a problem I fight on my pearl, but it is 3 years old. IF I get a new phone I want to take care of some of the issues that you would expect from an older device. The Tour only has 256 MB of memory, the 9700 2 GB, not sure about the Storm 2, I hear too many issues with that device. You get the idea. Do I need to look at a Droid or something else? or is the Tour the way to go. I am open to any OS, but REALLY, REALLY want to stay away from anything Uncle Bill (Gates) is associated with! I am open to suggestions.

I love my Slacker Caching (only available on a BB)
Would like to keep syncing contacts and calendar with Lotus Notes, would like to with Yahoo, gmail but not as important.
Obviously need SMS, MMS and Email (BIS), BB messenger is nice.
    Web
    Wi-Fi for sure
    Has to be on Verizon.

    Thank You for listening!

My bad, sorry. I misread that line on the BB site. That was the Storm2.

I'm sorry but I believe the Storm 2 also has 256RAM.
I think you are confusing the onboard memory with the RAM. I believe the 2GB is just for storage, much like what we put on our media cards now.

Someone please correct me if I am mistaken.
