    I am new to a Blackberry device and just ordered the STORM. From what I read so far the lines are divided on its ability. Im sure I will get a lot out of it coming from a flip phone. I read about updating the OS. Where and how would you go about updating the OS if RIM has an update?? Has anyone heard that there will be an OS update and if so, about what time frame?? thanks for all the help for a newbie....

    Wow. Does that mean that the original os they put with it was full of bugs or crappy or something of the sort?

    No it does not. All software have bugs. Anything that is brand new is going to have it's share of issues. The same sort of thing happened with the release of the Bold.

    Just a word of advise (that if you spend any time here, you'll see...), get to know the phone before you upgrade the OS!

    At the very least, check the forums to see how the upgrade goes for others!
