I'd like an all touch BlackBerry with the power of a BlackBerry Passport.
Sort of like a Z30 size, with the processor etc. of a Passport.

Can someone (Chen) makes this happen?

    Kplsthx

Chen doesn't think you, or people who want want an all touch BlackBerry phone like you exist!

If verizon brings out the slider I'll look at it. Just have to see. I'm still waiting on the 10.3 upgrade for my z30. Still loving this phone. Don't really need a new one.

I agree 100% with this (although a bigger battery and a 5.2" screen would be preferred)

Although Chen has made it clear that BlackBerry will not be making a device like this (this year and probably next year too). So the closest you can get (which is what I'm getting) is the Slider which is coming out in the next few months. If the rumored specs become reality, then I will buy the Slider. Although if the specs are not suitable for a flagship, then I will wait until next year (and maybe then they'll make a full-touch device)

The passport has internals very similar to the HTC One M8 so if that exact form factor is good for you, then basically, aside from the difference in screen resolution, the components for the device you want (not in a BlackBerry shell of course) has been developed. BlackBerry could use the same internals as the Passport but a different screen and get this device to market very quickly imo. So, BlackBerry, what are you waiting for?

By the time that gets release, it'll have a year old specs. I'm down for a full touch screen but a more updated specs.

Exactly. This is why the Z30 will likely be my last BB10 phone

Will upgrade to Android sometime this year, but not before the "BlackBerry Experience" software is released for Android (I will buy this regardless of $ cause I need -- at minimum -- the BB10 keyboard on any phone

Those of us looking for a new high-spec all-touch BB10 phone are not really any priority for Chen IMO. Management likely feel that a high-spec BB10 all-touch has no compelling-enough differentiator to carve out in the all-touch flagship market (again, IMO).

I could be surprised... but I don't I will be.

If BlackBerry brings out a good all-touch BB 10 device, developers will make apps for BB.
Because almost all popular apps are made for iOS and Android and require an all-touch phone. then people will actually buy BB devices.

So 2-3 good all-touch phones in 2-3 years priced around USD 500-600 and BlackBerry will be back.

It's obvious now that BlackBerry isn't going a full touch flagship. Our best shot is a 16:9 flagship but with a physical keyboard attached to it. So.. slider, maybe get followed by Visa / Victoria but 16:9 full touch without physical keyboard will be low-ed to midrange until they have more cash.

Hope they will prove me wrong and surprise us though

For me an all touch with better than the passport hardware. Nothing wrong with the passport, things just need to keep moving forward with every new model. Yes Z30 size / Z10 size would suit me best. I'm prepared to look at the slider, but a slider is not really what I want.
