I installed v4.7 software and now it tried to install roxio media manager but bombs out and asks me where the CD is located. If I cancle out it will just trty to reinstall again after a while. anyone know how to fix this?

When you downloaded 4.7 did you select the "with media manager" version?

there is no selection.....

I do have roxio 6 media manager installed and can run it, and it works fine. Thats why I dont understand why it keeps trying to install again.

It is looking for the install package.

I'm having the same problem. It just started doing it tonight, before, everything had been working fine. I used the desktop mgr version that came on the cd with the phone. Every time it tries to install, I cancel but it still comes back. This last time I stuck the cd back in but it still keeps trying to install it again. Does anyone have a solution?

Finally got mine fixed. I put the CD back in and did a search for the file it was looking for and then pointed it to the right folder on the CD.


Very annoying.
