I need some advice here.

I'm thinking of getting a Blackberry Bold but I would like to find out whether I could still configure to include my personal emails such as Gmail, Yahoo on my Blackberry by just relying on my 3G mobile network?

I was told that we need to subscribe to another Blackberry service in order for me to have the ability to configure my emails.

Currently I'm using a Nokia and it allows me to just configure my inbox settings with the right information and I can get all my emails by manualling connecting to it. It's done through hooking up with the 3G network by my cellular provider and retrieving all my emails unto my phone.

Can I do that same thing on BB?

The subscription you need is a Blackberry data plan. That's the only way it would
work. Unless you got the phone with a media net plan you could access your email
through the browser. But if you bought the phone directly from AT&T anyway they
won't sell it to you without the BB data plan anyway.

You need to have an data plan with a Blackberry or any other smartphone on all the US major wireless carriers.

It will not work if you don't get the data plan.
