So I just downloaded the new OS update and side loaded snap. Tried downloading a few apps (playstation, instagram, snapchat) and after downloading them, it just stays stuck on the black processing screen after clicking open installer. Any ideas?

Did you reboot after you upgraded your phone? After adding SNAP? I would try that first.
Did u run the Android Player in BlackBerry World? I am not too technical but there is a thread somewhere.

Did you enable "Allow Apps from Other Sources to be Installed" under App Manager>Installing Apps?
I did all these things except the android thing in bbworld? Never heard of that.

I'm having the same issue.
I have loaded snap, instagram, Viber, NUUO and all working flawlessly. Install Netflix but it stays at a black screen. Will reboot and report back.

.....Ok rebooted no luck. Will go find if Netflix even works.
Once you have finished downloading and installing Snap, find it on your next available screen and open it.

had the same problem... make sure to enable ALL permissions for the snap app, enable install from other app installer in blackberry settings. and just for good measure, restart phone. hope it works for you guys.
That's right, Snap needs to at least have access to Shared Files
so anyone has solved the problem ??? I just got on this and I'm still stuck on the processing screen. How long does it take to "process" ? I've tried Instagram, Viber, Pheed and Starbucks app. Still all in "Processing" Screen. What em I doing wrong ? all permission is selected ALL and ON.

Settings > App Manager > click on the blue text > go to Snap > enable Shared Files.
Works for me.
Use PlayBook on Google Chrome extension had problems wiv snap used the PlayBook an can side load anything with takes 2 mins

Huh. Snap works for PlayBook? But how? PlayBook only runs certain 2.3.3 apps.

I had trouble loading snap so my m8 found the apk file for snap and side loaded it onto my fone through playbook and it works fine
