I am the owner of a 8310 Curve and am having difficulty deleting music/ringtones from my device. I have followed the help instructions as well as the manual, but everytime I highlight a music/ringtone file that I put on my phone, then subsequently delete the file, the file doesn't go away. Any enlightenment on this subject would be greatly appreciated!

that would be my first guess too is to do a battery pull. also, are you confirming that the file is deleted, and then closing out the application through the menu instead of just hitting the red END key like you would with a normal cell phone? a lot of programs, ive found, in blackberries will automatically save any changes or prompt you to save changes when you hit close in the menu... try this, too.

I have exited from the application by pressing the back key until reaching the main screen. However, I have not attempted the battery pull method. Is it fair to assume that simply taking out the battery after making the deletions should remove the songs from the phone permanently?
