    I have a blackberry 7290. it refuses to get service. it will get GSM service every one in a while then it goes away as fast as it came. i love the phone but obviously it's no good if i don't get service. Anyone got any clues?

    Try downloading and installing the OS to your PC, backup your data, and then use JL_CMDER.
