I just replaced ATT 8310 Curve after St. Patrick's day mishap - now 10 months later the area where you connect the charger to the 8310 blackberrry got bent in my car while charging on the road.

ATT says we don't cover buy a new one $minimally $175 - I don't want to spend it.

Does anyone know if I can buy an external battery charger for 8310 Curve and charge the battery separately over night rather than connect via cord charger to outlet or laptop.

Any help greatly appreciated in beating the racket.
