    In desktop manager, in the backup&restore -> advanced panel, you can do a partial restore.
    When you open the IPD file, there is a list of entries.

    I need an explanation of each entries

    I think the OP is wondering what that whole list of entries is for. When I back up/restore, I only restore the stuff I know. For example, contacts and calender are the 2 main things I restore. I rest I could careless about because, like the OP, I have no idea what most of it is.
