I notice this on many native cascade apps when comparing to android HTC One.
Android apps are noticeably slower as well, understandibly.

    Among native apps:
NHL Game center (worst of all)
    Hype Machine
    Crackberry
    Maps, TSN
Stock system apps such as calculator, calendar, weather.

Is this due to a dev spending less time on the app or a design of bb10 sandboxed app environment
Weaker specs perhaps? Although Z10 still remains comparable to my HTC.

Not that it's much longer or a big deal, just curious if this is an OS limitation which can be optimised as BB10 matures or..

Switching between device monitor and the loading app doesent indicate CPU or memory spikes for this app, perhaps this can be given more resources for the few moments required.

After all, you can't sell somebody the great OS with a bad first impression.
