Obviously, ten is an arbitrary small number. Thanks for sharing your thought process.

Also, I wouldn't call a music app "frivolous." I think it's one of the best reasons for carrying a mobile device.

I get the music thing as a soothing mechanism for some people. I have monotone taste. Only like the face melter stuff

    We agree CB is frivolous?

There's no "right" way to appreciate music. We are all wired differently, and require different currents, voltages and frequencies! I would add my opinion that if music is only soothing, you're not doing it right, regardless of taste.

    Two bakers' dozens...

Apps that I probably use daily are:
    1. BlackBerry Hub
    2. BlackBerry Calendar
    3. BlackBerry Contacts
    4. Google Chrome
    5. Adobe Acrobat
    6. Docs
    7. BBM
    8. Whatsapp
    9. Evernote
    10. Wikipedia
    11. Locker
    12. Classic Words Free
    13. My Library (for playing music stored on my SD Card)

Other Apps that I use more than once a week (but not every day) include:
    1. LinkedIn
    2. Transport for London (Tube & Bus for London)
    3. Banking App
    4. Photos
    5. Camera
    6. DropBox
    7. OneDrive
    8. Box
    9. Twitter
    10. Play Store
    11. Amazon Music
    12. Firefox
    13. Any one of a number of Hotel Apps (eg Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG)

Still prefer BB10 as an OS (even though the ecosystem was rubbish by the end)

I realize that the reason I have so many apps is that I am spending more time away from my computer. I can get work done from the comfort of my living room, or even before I get up in the morning.

Browser, ie. native, firefox, opera/mini (for everything unless explicitly requires app), blackberry hub (e-mail, twitter notifications) cb10 (or browser for other mobile nations), blaq (until it croaks, though, it actually updates the timeline, just far less frequently than we expected).

Once I get key2, it'll be pretty much the same.

Not surprising to me or to BB, if the comment was shared with them.

Not that much of a surprise from where I'm sitting, there's much better alternatives except for the VKB.

Well in my list I implied BB apps were essential but didn't name them specifically. I consider them core functions that in BB10 they were built in
