We know RIM is working hard to get apps developed for the L-Series, but does anyone know what is going on to spur development for the N-Series? For example, it looks like most games being developed work only with the PlayBook / L-Series screen ..

I believe it is just an easy code for screen size but I'm not a developer.

This is correct, some apps may auto-resize as well.
Although, developing for a 720x720 screen is a bit more difficult than 1280x720.

The SDKs will be updated before the end of December to support the keyboard version. So it looks like the best strategy is to develop now for the full touch device and then optimize for the keyboard version.

Sure is! I'm developing an game called Jurassic Qwerty where you role play Grog, a caveman who refuses to let go of physical keyboards and goes on a quest to find a visitor from the future who teaches him to embrace full screen touchscreen smartphones!

Oh don't get your knickers in a knot, I kid, I kid.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I just hope that RIM has the same success with apps for the N-Series as they will for the L-Series, otherwise the media will be all over it.

as of right now everything is being built for all touch. You can even see a "all touch" filter in appworld on the pc. No sign of a Qwerty as of now. I'm sure they have a plan in place to male sure most apps will be available for qwerty upon launch,of course they do
