Opera mini is a separate app. It doesn't change your browser, it adds a new one. It should come up as a little red O. You can get free ringtones from this site, or upload your own music if you have a memory card

I was told i can get the same browser the ipone has which actually makes the page look like they would from a desktop. Is this the Opera. Also i tried installing miniopera again and it told me to reboot my phone for changes to take affect so i did that now when i go to my browser no pages open up. The bottom just keeps reading "requesting" geeesh im already screwing things up

Opera mini is the browser that will give you internet as on your desktop. It is not the same browser as on the iphone though.

It says requesting as it is searching for a connection. You may need to enter your carriers APN details onto the device at options > advanced options > TCP.

I would delete it & re-install it. When it is installing, make sure you put check marks in the little boxes whe it is asking for permissions. Hope this helps.

    Welcome to the addiction!!

To delete, go to Options>Advanced Options>Applications then hilight Opera Mini, press menu and select delete. Then try to reinstall like mding4 said.

Be sure to select a little box that says allow connections when the dialogue box pops up. This should be when you first open Opera Mini after the installation.
