What are your thoughts on the iPhones's alerting options? It's my understanding that it doesn't have an LED indicator, so if an important email/text arrives while you're away from your phone, how do you know a message is waiting for you?

Can you set the iPhone to beep every x minutes when an email/text is received until it's acknowledged?

Yeah. I set it to beep 4 times every 2 mins.. Then it will stop.I like my bold 9900. Just thought to maybe change it up for a little you know..

I haven't bought the iPhone 5 yet. I'm really enjoying my 4S.
The depth of notifications on the iPhone is nowhere near a BB. I miss the LED light, and I do wish they included it.
Enjoy the iPhone 5...I'm still debating whether I'll get it. I really do love my 4S.

You can set the camera LED to flash on alerts, but I'm not a big fan of it. Too bright if the phone is face down imo.

I'm not missing the LED a whole lot though, I've always had my BB LED set to turn off after 10 minutes anyway.

Kinda how I feel...I need to get a SIM adapter for my 9700, but I always have my 9900 at work if I ever long for the LED.

I know you're a phone person (junkie ) if the 5 doesn't have anything new you care about no reason to unless your I got to have this phone kicks in LOL.

i agree, I like the iPhone's elegance and am tempted to get one myself.
With the iPhone, can you set different alert sounds for email, texts, etc.?

U can set your 4s to use the camera flash as an alert light. Not as nice as the bb but an option.
