It just happens after some time with the phone (year or +) that occasionally typing on one letter makes it double on the screen like hii or whateverr etc.. it's not very disturbing in my case and does not occur that much on my Q10 but it seems it does bother some other users.

I've had my Q for a year now and never heard of this issue until now. I've not experienced it. Hopefully it isn't widespread. I love my Q10.

Folks with keyboard problems: am I wrong in that BB devices have a full year warranty? If you own a Q you can't have had it for more than a year: invoke your warranty rights!

I think they know that, the problem is that they are having to change it out more than once....for the same problem, and that's unexceptable

Please let us know what you decide! I too do not know which phone I will upgrade to when that time comes... It will *probably* be a Sony Xperia Z-series, just for an adventure in another OS, but at the moment, I really don't have any desire to leave me Q10. But if you'd like to, great! There are a ton of great phones out there! You're staying with BlackBerry, yes? I read you were considering the Z30 or waiting for the Q20. The other OS systems are cool too - I'd go with Android or Windows if I had to upgrade away from BB.

Nope. But I had numerous Z10's ( Gave a few away for gifts) , a Q10 and a Q5...it doesn't matter what I have. I'm telling you what actually works and is better. it's left to you whether or not you want to keep banging your head against a wall.

As u can see by my signature, I have a z10..
I have no issues whatsoever, except for trying to get used to the all touch screen. Never had a provlem with either phone

It's definitely a problem that happens sporadically. Not all day everyday. But sometimes when you really need to get a message out fast and boom! It happens with the double typing. I wish BlackBerry just kept the old bold style for the hardware. I can't wait for the classic. Stop messing with perfection!

Hey I always appreciated the Sony z-series phones and actually had one Sony Xperia before the Q10 was released (and my curve was well... outdated) but now my Q10 is really something I'll never give up on. I'll just stick to it for now and will see what blackberry has to offer during this year, if things get worse I'll just replace it with another Q10 and continue using a Q10 (since the problems I have mentioned didn't show until recently and I always wondered how a white Q10 would feel like... or even the gold+white Q10- which isn't bad at all) anyway if the phone will stay on its status right now I won't do anything since it's just a matter of updating and not upgrading (it just happens that I annually change my phone even if it's still workable) but if Blackberry doesn't update it on time then I'll wait this time, coz with this OS and this well-built device I won't find anything even close, and as for the Z30, it's a great device but I'll never leave my clicky keyboard and the metal lines between the rows of the keys nor the form factor of the phone. my decision is I will stick to my Q10 and maybe the Classic or the Q20 or Windermere (coz honestly I dunno anymore which is which hehe) will make me switch, if not then... there will be another decision to make. till then... LONG LIVE BlackBerry Q10.
