It will do it for like 10 minutes at a time. I don't think its a memory issue as I have done the tricks to optimize the memory. Is there anything else besides a battery pull I can do because it does it pretty frequently.

It could be a mis-behaving application. Even if you've optimized memory, one bad app could be using it up. Is there an app you're leaving running in the background beside the five that you can't close: Browser, Call Log, Home, Messages, BBMessenger?
Could be a bad application or could be something gone wrong with the OS in which case either reloading the OS or upgrading to a newer version would most likely solve that problem.
