my curve just froze :(
ive been having this on going problem, ive been with cingular for 2 years, and pay for call waiting, but for all of the 2 years i can never pick up beeps. I always thought it was my phone but since ive changed, i still have the problem, apparently so because my curve just froze when i tried to pick up the beep. It froze on the screen displaying the caller. so i tried to hang up the call, it didnt help. then i tried to shut off my phone, that didnt work, and THEN i took out the battery... TWICE, and it froze on some white screen with the little round rainbow hour glass. about 5 min later when it finally un froze it said scanning security features or something...
can any one explain this?

i dont think its an issue with ATT ... it sounds more like an issue with your OS ... might try to update that ...

When I do a battery pull on my BB it usually does a security scan at startup but that only takes a few seconds.
I've checked the settings on my BB and tried enabling the call waiting but it said that option isn't available to me although I know my plan has call waiting. Maybe no call waiting on the Curve? Anyone knows?
