My blackberry trackball won't scroll up but will scroll left to ride and down how can i fix this problem witout replacing my blackberry please help someone???
Try a Q-Tip dipped in rubbing alcohol. Apply to ball, hold the BB face down, and roll the ball around a bit, press down a few times to see if that frees up the jam.

This happened to my Tour yeasterday just for a few seconds. I thought it was a lag but it as well went left and right i played with it for a few seconds and it freed up.
That used to happen to me all the time on my 8900. I would shut off the phone and apply a lot of pressure down on the ball while rolling it up-down-up-down/left-right-left-right and that'd usually break up or move whatever was obstructing the ball.
