Yesterday slept over because I didn't hear the alarm
This morning I was already awake and the alarm did not go off???

Is there a setting somewhere (8520) that's been deactivated??

Battery pull cured it

Just a piece of advice, get QuickPull (app) it lets you do a battery pull every night. I have mine set to 4:45 am and it still has plenty of time for the alarm to wake me up at 5:50am
