    So I have the most recent update...and I find my apps mess up a whole lot!! I try to play music and it will open but I hit Play and nothing happens...close app and retry...nothing...same goes for videos...its EXTREMELY annoying...try turning off the phone, reset/turn off completely, everything...sometimes it helps other times it doesnt...

    anyone else experience this? Any fixes?

    Is it a cheap card, slow card(class 4), old card? Able to try card in somebody else's phone? Transfer a few songs to the internal memory and remove the card completely and then try the music player.

    To me it seems more likely a card problem than a software problem. I'm not saying it's not possible that it's software, but it is easy to rule out the card.

    If you used headphones recently try putting them back in and taking it out.

    This happened with my iPhone a few years ago, only once, and somehow that fixed it

    Also, try accessing other files from the SD card and seeing if they work

    Doubt it is the card...brand new ScanDisk Ultra Class whatever its called lol...above Class 10 for sure...its really good...although maybe I need to refresh it, clear and re add the songs...
