Not sure where to post this.

I've just been trying to use MSN messenger on my 9900 (im new to bb phones) and I'm wondering how it works. When I've tried to msg people it takes me to the messages app, is that how it works? My messages don't exist inside the msn app? IM redirtected to the messages app cause it works through email? When I tried it I was appearing offline and messaging someone offline, cause i just wanted to see if it worked.

Thanks in advance for any help

    Open the application.
    Press the Menu button.
    Select Options.
Scroll to "Show Conversations in Messages Application".
    Select "No".
    Save.

It just puts the open conversations in Messages if you want it to. If you do opt to show conversations in Messages, you should still be able to access them from both applications (Messages and msn messenger). If you don't want to see the conversations in Messages, you can do as the other poster wrote and disable the feature. Another note: unless something has changed with msn, you can't send offline messages in the BlackBerry mobile application.
