    It's Been a while since I've been on Blackberry and I have forgotten many of the old tricks that made my Blackberry Productive. I was hoping that some of you could give some of the best Keyboard Shortcuts and Some of the Best Tricks that Makes a Blackberry a Blackberry?

    Some of the info is a little outdated but most all the shortcuts still work. This should keep you busy for a while. Welcome back!

    Well These are the ones I use almost every day

    Inbox / Email short cuts

    While reading emails

    R - Reply To Message
    L - Reply To All
    F - Forward Message
    I - File Highlighted Message
    SPACE - Scroll down page at a time
    T - Top of Message including header
    B - Bottom of message
    N - Next message
    P - Previous Message

    While in the Message list

    C - Compose Message
    ALT+U - Mark Message As Opened/Unopened
    SHIFT+SPACE - Move up 1 Full screen view
    SPACE - Move Move down 1 full screen view
    T - Go to top of a message list
    B - Go to bottom of a message list
    N - Move to the next date
    P - Move to the previous date
    U - Move to the next unopened item
    J - Navigate forward through grouped messages
    K - Navigate backward through grouped messages
    R - Reply to email highlighted but not opened
    L - Reply ALL to email highlighted but not
    S - Search

    I also set up Word Substitution
    > Options > Typing and Language > Word Substitution
    I Remove
    HR = HOUR
    br= (

    I add
    myhaddy = my Home address
    mywaddy = my Work address
    blackberry = BlackBerry
    myemail (1-4) = my 4 primary email addresses
    mycmky = my contactmonkey address

    I also ad about 100 common Part numbers I email about by doing the 9900# the # being an indicator to use my autotext which gives a description,
    For example I can type "I have a 9900", or if I type I have a 9900# it would say "I have a BlackBerry Bold 9900"

    Some Word Substitutions to remember when typing
    il = I'll ( I always want ill = I'll, just takes time to remember to drop the last L)
    mypin = your BlackBerry PIN number
    ALToronto and Becky_x like this.

    There's one shortcut that's missing in OS 6, and it pi$$es me off that it's gone. It's "F" for Profiles. Eliminating it was unnecessary and stupid. I mean: why??? And no, thanks, but I'm not interested in an app that will do it. I prefer to use native applications and features.

    Oh, and I wish there was a shortcut for the Clock. And I wish the Clock displayed the date, too, in some large font.

    (Left bracket)color=red] in front of a word or sentence. Without the parenthesis
    (Left bracket/color]) behind the word or sentence. Without the parenthesis.
    You can change the color to blue, red, green etc. I have them loaded into Word Substitution.
    If I post the real deal it just colors everything! And you get no example!

    well the topic is about BB short cuts so i just assumed he ment on his BB for typing. that would be nice it we could do that on our BBs as well. Well guess we gotta wait for BB10 to do it. i say that due to the rich text editor on PBOS2 and that is the stepping stone for BB10, so one would assume that it would carry over
