    Hello,

I just recently purchased an 8GB media card for my Pearl 8130. I have seen postings on Crackberry as how to free up on board device memory and what not.

Does anyone have a tips and practices layout of how to help maximize your on-board memory when utilizing your Media card? Of course there is making sure your camera is saving images onto the Media card, and I believe the latest TwitterBerry app can store cached data on the media card.

I am sure there are some more advanced tips in how to differ as much as you can away from the system memory, leveraging the large disk space avail on the Media card.

    Any ideas?

    Mike

If you have a lot of notes made using MemoPad, there is an alternative app called BBNotePad that can open everything MemoPad made and it can save them to your memory card. MemoPad can only store to your device memory.

You can check out the file free memory link in my sig if you want to free up more device memory.
