Can someone tell me which BB device has the most on-board memory? Would it be the 9700 or the Tour, or....? I have the Curve and I'm tired of such a low amount of memory, so I'll be upgrading pretty soon.

    Thanks for responding.

I'm not talking about the media card memory, just in the phone itself. I was trying to figure it out on the BB website, and it said the Tour has 1 gig and the 9700 has the 256 MB. I just wanted to make sure. I really want the 9700, but I don't see much difference with the Tour.

The Tour is a CDMA phone, just for the record. It's a world phone so you can put a sim card on it, but I am not sure you need to unlock it 1st or not.

You sem to have a 8310 which is a GSM phone, so I'd think why the hassle and not simply get a 9700? It's "pretty much" a Tour with trackpad and loads of horsepower under the hood.

That gig the Tour has is for media only, we're still waiting for a BlackBerry with tons of app memory.

The Tour 9630 is quad band. It can be unlocked and used on GSM frequencies both in North America and internationally.

Holy crap, NO ONE answered her question directly!

*EDIT* Sorry, bharuch did answer, but it wasn't laid out easily, kinda jammed in the middle.

The Tour and the Bold 9700 both have 256mb of internal memory. They can both support up to a 32GB media card.

I have read that the 9700 Bold has 16gb maximum microSD compatability, are you sure it can handle 32gb? I am wanting to purchase a card for my UK bold.
