i have some questions relating to MMS support in Blackberrys in general.

    1. is MMS supported from a specific OS? meaning BB started supporting it from OS 4.3?
    2. is MMS not supported by specific Carrier? meaning AT&T do support MMS but Verizon do not?
    3. where could i fins a list of all the BB out there and thier different messaging support in specific SMS,MMS,Email. without needing to look for each phone for it self.

    thank you

    Everyone supports MMS.
You need a Blackberry data plan to get MMS though.
All Blackberry's are equipped with full messaging services, whether you pay for it is up to you.

Multimedia Messaging Service, or MMS, is a standard way to send messages that include multimedia content to and from mobile phones. It extends the core SMS (Short Message Service) capability that allowed exchange of text messages only up to 160 characters in length.

7100i? Seriously? MMS is a carrier feature, not blackberry feature.

Depends where you are but I would say all carriers around the world support mms. Where are you based?

where im based i known the support status.
i need to know about CDMA carrier support for BB device.

also- what about OS version, could you say that by upgrading the OS version for a device that does not have MMS support- i could start supporting MMS?

What device are you talking about? You need to be more specific, what device, what carrier etc.

I am 99% sure only the ones with a camera will be able to do mms, they're all quite old by the way.
Your best bet is the 8910 I presume but the 8130, 8230 and 8330 should be able to do it too.
