Are you talking about the stolen Canadian shipment? This seller's in California. Not that it's completely implausible he/she could have brought them here, but it would be very difficult to bring over so many hot PBs.
More than likely... stay clear of those!
Yeah they have to be stolen to be pin locked right?
They could have had sum of the numbers switched. Definitely stay as far away from this deal as you can.
Yea, I would stay away from those if it was me, better to be safe than sorry......and lose money :eek:
It was still in the USA when stolen.
Improperly distributed PlayBooks can be blocked as well. I get the impression that the serial numbers don't become valid in the system until RIM considers them distributed.
I didnt think they could do that since its not on bis/bes . Guess they can. Good for them.
They get blocked from the update servers, so the PlayBooks can't get the initial setup. I think update server access is based upon the serial number rather than the PIN.
