She's not 14, she's 16. She even had this huge birthday party at Disneyland/world (not sure which one) this past October. But yes, I agree the rude comments are unnecessary.

No she put it in asterisks and when she said "whispers" she was trying to let them know you're a boy. Learn how to read. It meant she is a 'he'.
