Do you know if the Sandisk 16GB Ultra Micro Memory Card, Class 4, Model SDSDQY 016G-S11M is compatible with the Blackberry Curve 8900? I am looking to upgrade from the 256 MB card that came with the Curve. Thanks much for this and the installation instructions from previous posts.

Yes, the 16 GB Ultra Micro SD will work in the Curve 8900. Since the 8900 is running a 4.6 OS it is capable of running up to a 32 GB Micro SD card.

I was spazzing out because I had already placed the order, and found out the card that came with my phone wasn't sdHC. Good thing it takes both though
Thanks Pete, I have noticed that before on mine when connected. I never knew this until now. Of course after I disconnect the phone from the pc it reverts back to what I had on the Media card. Thanks for the info.

My class 2 16Gb sd HC Sandisk in Bulk package bought from a USA seller cheap at $9USD no longer reads measurably fast enough for my taste any of my 4200 wallpapers, 1100 mp3s, 90+ BWI sets and close to 200+ Battex skins...I know that there is something wrong with either my 9780 or the card or perhaps there is something wrong with me however I think if they say 16gb of data can be stored then how come it takes so long to read!! Just bought a Class 10 32GB sd hc and not from Sandisk just now and will compare the results.....
microSDHC is so great and fast but sure its more expensive
