Well I gotta get my pearl replaced tomorrow I called tech support at alltel and they told me the memory leak issue was fixed with operating system 4.5 but mine still leaks and also for some reason now I can't go into my about screen in options I click on it but it does nothing I can go into everything else I can't back up my files cause I have no computer so the replacement is gonna suck if the next pearl doesn't work anybetter I'm screwed cause I can't afford to buy a new phone I'm afraid ill have to cancel my service if that happens and I really don't want to do that anybody have an opinion on the situation
If you removed Voice Activated Dialing options > about will
not work.
You can get that info by holding the ALT key and typing RACE
As to the memory leak issue, there probably isn't one. This is one
of the single most overused and misunderstood term on this or
any other BB site. Your phone is doing what it is supposed to do.
Do some basic housekeeping and properly close open apps and
you'll be fine.
