Could you give us more information? What OS are you using? How do you transfer media to your memory card?

Before moving music onto the memory card. Try formatting the memory card to the phone.

Also when you go into file manager and see your music, Tap on a song and it should play that song in file manager.

If it does play that song or any songs in file manager, the file may be corrupted.

When I started using BB10 smartphones, my memory card was only a 16GB Class 4 memory card, and the music & videos wouldn't copy to the card properly. So I purchased a Class 10 HDSC 32GB card and everything copied perfectly. So you may want to check and maybe get a cheap Class 10 card on Amazon or Ebay.
