I have a Nexus One, and I have an 8G memory card in it, with music, pictures, etc on it. I am going to try to sell my Nexus One, and I want to put my memory card in my new Bold. I have to "unmount" the card from the Nexus One so that I don't lose all the info on there. My question is, can I just put my memory card in my Bold and use it? It asked me if I wanted to format it and I said no, because I was afraid of losing all my info. Do I need to put all my stuff onto my computer, let the BB reformat the card, then add everything back, or is there another way to do this so I can have all my info on my Bold?

Best bet would be to copy ALL to computer but it might work as is. The issue is stuff might not be in default folder.

Best move is backup to computer.
Format on BB.
Restore from computer.

Any other course may be fraught with peril. Caution is always the watchword.

I was able to move my card to my bb from my old samsung without formatting. Just popped it in and all my files were there.
