Hi,
I am a crackberry newbie as you can see above(EDIT: i am now a crackberry user), but i have a question. Is it possible to have media player going while my phone is in standby?
This is because I use my blackberry as an ipod as much as i do a phone, and maybe more. Yes I do know that there is a keyboard lock, but I don't like having to press * "send".
If there is a third party software that would be fine.
and moderators, if this belongs in a different fourm, please move it.

I have an 8330. If after starting the media player you hit the red button it should just vanish but continue playing. You should then be able to press the top left button and put it into standby. That's how it works on mine. Volume keys still function too. Take it back out of standby, press and hold the bb key and scroll to media player. And click the pad, ball or hit enter to get access back to it.
