A buddy of mine who's on iOS just taunted me by asking if " my fancy new blackberry has the Map my run app.. which I just looked up and it says.. android and I phone.. Does anyone have the file I can side load the android app? I really don't want to have to say no... Thanks!

Or you can use an alternative such as Sports Tracker which does essentially the same and is available in BBW.

I've returned to say I've had mixed results with this app. A couple of times when I've looked at it in the midst of a run its crashed on me (the app closed). I've also had it not behave this way and work fine. It does look good I agree.

I think I've seen a thread to provide feedback to the maker. I should probably go there....

Ultimately it would be great to see endomondo or runtastic come to bb10.

Ya, I use sports tracker.

Hoping that RunKeeper can be sideloaded in the future.

Sports tracker is OK bu it gives no voice feedback at periodic intervals.

Great news! I sent Map my Run an email about this as it was previously available on my Torch and they responded "There are plans to develop an app for new Blackberry 10 but a release date has not yet been Set". Hopefully that means sooner than the Skype version of soon..

Runtastic has a whole bunch of apps in bbworld except Runtastic. I'm not sure why, I loved that app on my 9860

I guess their plans took a dumper. I used to use Map My Fitness on my Curve...Endomondo is ok but not nearly as user friendly.
