This morning I was going to send an SMS to a business associate, and it occurred to me that I would look stupid sending the same thing twice, and I thought I remembered sending this person a text already. I couldn't find it in my SMS history, so I fire up the activity log for the contact and sure enough, I'd already sent it.
It's stupid and elementary, but it's this type of real-world functionality that makes me glad I ditched my Treo. And by ditched I mean melted. And by glad I mean jump-up-and-down, pee-my-pants ecstatic.
Messages, menu key, view folder, you can look in there too, and also they need to be cleaned out every so often, alternativley, once in the messages icon, ALT+O will bring up your outgoing box, which has all calls, messages, texts in there - for outgoing.
Thanks for the tip! Just tried for the Bold. Alt+O opens the Outgoing messages, Alt+P opens the Phone log (incoming/outgoing) and Alt+I opens the Incoming messages.
Newbie here.
This seemed a good a place as any to just say Thank You!
I perused this site for a few weeks before taking the plunge.
Ditched my LG ENV2 and bought a used 8330 (VZW). Haven't looked back.
Crackberry.com and my 8330 Rock!
Works for the Curve. Perhaps the Bold as well. Make sure you open the Messages Folder/App on your BlackBerry, then do the commands. You cannot do it from the home screen.
