No, iTunes won't run on the BlackBerry. There are several good Media Player out there though. A search should find you some.
the new os has a new player that will sync with itunes...playlist and all.
Forget about itunes. I don't have itunes and I never will. I put all my music on my BB and create playlist from there.
Use nuTsie....
Personally I love my iPods - I have the Touch and Classic, and I would never give them up. As an iPod replacement the BB makes a great phone. I can't stand the media player.

U can connect your phone to your pc, turn on mass media storage and drop all the songs you want into the removable drive through my computer then create a playlist on your blackberry

It's absolutely true. The best BlackBerry is no iPod where media is concerned. But then, Apple's had years to get it right, and RIM is only now playing catchup - with Microsoft and a dozen other players ahead of them.
I just bought my wife an iPod Nano. Sweet little device! I'm very impressed with it. The screen is smaller than my Curve, but has the same resolution. It's sharp, bright, and clear. Navigation is more intuitive and more fun than the 8330's native media player. AND - the Nano will play ALL my iTunes stuff, where the 8830 will only play DRM-free files.
So, after giving it to her, she asks, "Do you have one of these?"
My answer. "No. My Blackberry does just fine."
And it does. Not as nice to use, but it works great. Fact is, with the 8gb microSD card, it has double the capacity of her Nano.
And yes, just drag and drop lots of files onto it.
