    Unless you have access to a PC, you won't be able to update the OS on your Pearl using a Mac.

    I'm not sure about macs, but have you tried PocketMac to upgrade the OS?

    i couldn't upgrade with pocketmac but i was able to run xp in parallels and i works just fine.

    That was going to be my next suggestion.

    Isn't there another tool to sync BBs? Does that allow up to upgrade? It's PocketMac and *......* (Fill in the blanks)
