I know there was another thread regarding but it was locked due to going off topic.

I was going to say that Haliburton switching their employees from Blackberry to iPhones is a huge blow to RIM's share of the marketplace. I will be waiting for the backlash from the true die hards but it is very true. Up front it doesn't seem like a big deal that Haliburton is doing the switch, but at the same time you have figure out to quote a favorite wrestler of mine Goldberg "Who's Next?"

That 5000 future sales equals to approximately $2,000,000 -$3,000,000 in lost revenue. I used rough figures of $400-$600 per phone. And that is just one major corporation. What about all those individuals who are making the switch?

It's inevitable as to where RIM is heading and it pains me to say that because I am Canadian and want to see homegrown businesses continue but this is reality. Look at Woolco and Zellers among others. Playing catch up is not easy especially in ever changing smartphone world.
