Hi there, as I am still a BB newbie, I noticed that I really miss a simple feature on my basic phone which relates to contact.

I tried searching on google for this problem, but I don't seem to be able to find the right search query.

I currently own a BB Bold 9700, with OS version 5 that came with AT&T. When I press the green dial button, the most recent dialed numbers show up. Sometimes, I actually prefer to type the number of phone number rather than searching the contact by name because I'm so used to calling the number. But when I type in the number, ex. (123) 456 7890, the contact name of this person's number does not show up, and i'm forced to finish the typing the entire number.

My old phone, when I typed (123), it automatically lists all the numbers starting with (123), so if person X is the only person with the numbers that start with (123), i could see the name show up on my screen, and simply move my curser down to click on the name and dial.

Is there such feature on the BB? or a setting I need to alter?
