Hi i have a blackberry tour 9630 that i unlocked that was previously U.S. cellular. I have At&t and when i put my SIM card in i have little to no service where ever i go. It is not my SIM card because i put it into another phone and i have full service in the same exact area. can anyone help me ive been sitting here for hours trying to figure this out?

I would suggest getting a new SIM card from AT&T. They should provide one free of charge.

Also, what OS are you running? There might be issues with the radio files in your OS.

how about where do you live? in the sticks or in a more urban area. service in your area may be spotty. but i assume you already checked the obvious and looked at the at&t covereage map for your area.

Does the 9630 have all of the GSM frequencies used in your area?

According to Blackberry (BlackBerry - Tour 9630 Specs – Blackberry Tour Specifications) it is a Quad-Band GSM phone... yes it has the EDGE/GRPS bands needed to get by.
