I just got the notification sound for a Level 1 message but have no clue what these are. Can someone help?

Also, shortly after getting the notification sound, my signal meter went to red x. I am lost here, please help.

By default, PIN messages are Level 1 messages. That's all it is probably.

How do I check these PIN messages or see them?

Look in the Level 1 message folder on your home screen. You should have 2 message folders..one for Level 1 and one for your personal email.

I don't see a folder for my level 1 messages. I just have a folder for messages and sms/mms folder.

PIN (Level 1 by default) messages will only go into your "Messages" folder. They'll be red.
