Lags, lags, lags, embarrassing battery life.
It is becoming a nightmare and getting worse by the day.
The trackpad became non-accurate and always have to wait 5-8 seconds after I close an android app because the phone FREEZES.
My e-mail accounts always tell me It does not have the right certificate and I should re-put my password for it work. It happens every 2-3 days.

Battery life. 5-6 hours. Always low brightness and battery mode at 60%. When Its 30% i switch to airplane mode just to get home.
The blackberry experience is becoming a total nightmare on my Classic. Any help?
I will not do a hard reset.

You have to do a hard reset. Press up down volume keys until blackberry appears on your screen.

If a hard reset fails to resolve.

Do Full backup with Link, Reload OS, Full Restore.

No, because what they're talking about is a soft-reset. However I don't see how it would be different from just restarting your phone.

Did you update OTA? Or did you install a leak?

Only option I have find is do a security wipe without any backup or restore. And then start everthng new. It should be perfect..!!

A hard reset is nothing more than a reboot. You cannot loose your data. As instructed hold both volume keys until BlackBerry shows on the screen. Release the keys and wait for the restart.

Sounds funny but it's the first stage of troubleshooting, most simple issues resolved after doing that.

It amazes me how many people will install a new OS and dont reboot after the install

However much garlic the recipe calls for, triple it

Reboot is a must for the changed files to take effect...same way as it's required after windows update..

After updating to the official OS., give some time to settle down... reboot once or twice for next 1 or 2 days... and it should be good to go..

Mine too is experiencing much shorter battery life after the update. Have tried the reboot - doesn't seem to have an effect. (Well no immediate effect anyway, but shall carefully monitor it over the coming days with some additional rebooting, and hope the situation improves).

Appears to be back to normal now (as pre-os update), following several reboots over 48hrs.
