So I went out and bought a micro USB cable yesterday. The cable isn't made by BlackBerry, it's called "Fuse".

I plugged it in, and a bubble pops up on my laptop screen that says "USB Device Not Recognized".

When I looked at my screen on my BlackBerry, it says "USB charging current is not sufficient".

It also won't charge my BlackBerry.

Note: I have DM 6.0, the USB cable is in a hub

Any help would be 100 % appreciated, I need this god damned phone to work!

Plug the cable directly into a USB port on the computer. Hubs will sometimes affect transmission and power transfer so this could be your problem.

    "USB Device Not Recognized". ...
The first place to check is Options / Media Card.

Verify Media Card Support is ON, Encryption Mode is None, Mass Storage Mode Support is ON and Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected is YES.

When you inserted the Media Card, it should have prompted you to format the card. If you have any doubts, press the BB button and select Format Card.

Bypass the hub for now, it should work correctly.
